The next collection of music I'm releasing with ArtList.io is called 'Night on the Moor' and features a series of original contemporary Scottish folk compositions produced with elements of electronic music, EDM and trap.
All the tunes for this collection were written between 2017 and 2018 and were produced in a way that attempted to emulated production styles of pop tracks. The genres of Scottish folk and EDM are really similar in a lot of ways so I wanted to see if they could be merged in some way.
The most popular track from the EP on ArtList has been 'Out of the Darkness' which features an acoustic jig tune played by guitar, fiddle and banjo which evolves into an orchestral string section with synth bass, electronic drums and pads.
