CLIMATE ACTION: HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS
FILM: 30-minute documentary film telling the story of ten inspirational characters behind the innovative sustainability work being done in the Highlands and Islands. From Fort William’s up cycling enterprises to Shetland’s Polycrub community growing infrastructure, this film tells the story of a selection of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub’s inspiring members as they showcase why the region is such a special place for taking action on climate change.
IMPACT: This film aimed to give a focal point for Highland and Island communities to rally around and draw inspiration from for their own sustainability work. It also aims to encourage more high-level investment in the region and challenge the "shortbread tin" view many hold of the Highlands and Islands.
